* "Lift-served terrain" or "vertical feet" is calculated from the highest lift-served point to the lowest lift-served point.

** Many ski areas will not report their "continuous vertical" statistic. This figure is the greatest amount of lift-served vertical
that can possibly be skied at once, without being stopped by terrain features, a dead-end, out-of-area, or otherwise
unskiable terrain requiring either a hike or a lift to continue to the lowest lift-served point.
For example, Deer Valley self-reports a vertical drop of 3,000 feet (comparable to Park City or Killington),
however, the longest run at the resort is under 2,000 vertical feet. In fact, roughly the same vertical drop
as Waterville Valley in New Hampshire.

My VerticalFeet.com page is for your use and enjoyment. Not responsible for any loss or damage due to inaccuracies (such as failing a school report,
losing a bar bet, changing your ski club trip based on this info, or the potential harm that could ensue when trivia nerds square-off).

I've made every attempt to be accurate and, in this pursuit, have personally skied more than 140 of these ski areas to check them myself.
Areas I have skied are capitalized. Many of these trips are posted on Endlessseason.comSoon the capitalized names will be "hotlinked"
to photos, notes, fascinating souvenir ski pins I've collected from each location, and more. Stay tuned.
